Thanks Wes!
Wes,
Thanks for posting the pics. I finally got to show my Georgia native wife what I did when I was 15 - 18. She really had no clue....Somehow Trade Street ain't the same as kick-turns in the driveway.

Trade Street session today was very cool. Had about 6-7 skaters show and five made serious efforts at dropping in and running this course. La Costa boy Marty Schaub showed up and ran cones for the first time in many years. He took the course clean on his first run and got faster every run after that.

Marty (center in white t-shirt) checking out the hill before his first run.

Looking down the hill after the "transition" from the top

All of the Trade Street course

Marty leading 66 and Byron on a follow-the-leader run through the cones.

After a good three-hour session on the hill, Rick wanted to show me the new Skate Park Of Athens where the Old School Jam will be held after the Red Clay Cup on Sunday

The guy can ride some round wall.

alright Wes, 'fess up...let's see the pics...
Schaub was killing it - I tried to track him down and could not catch up (Thompson, look out!)
WT made it from the top, something many will not at the end of April.
followed up by a session at the skate park, damn right it was a good day
