Chuck,
As of today I have gone into training. At noon I had a cheeseburger, chili-cheese dawg with onions and an order of onion rings.
At 2 I skate in a ramp/bowl contest.
***5pm UPDATE***
I took 3rd in the contest and suffered no blowouts or anything. I need to fine tune this pre-race diet a bit though...maybe the chili-cheese-slaw dawg woulda' slid me into 2nd...
P's outt

I saw that a "mystery guest" is coming to the Athens GA race.
could it be that Wentzle Ruml IV will be coming to run cones and serve seafood?
will there be no need for a Varsity run afterall?
how do onion rings go with steamed clams?
damn I'm bored.

I don't care who's coming or what they're bringing, I'm going to the V.

ps...did y'all enjoy Vidalia season?

pps...does the V put slaw on their chili cheese dogs? I thought you had to go to Zesto's for foot longs to get that sort of thing.

you can get it how you want it at the "V"!
chili-cheese-slaw-pimento cheese dog if'n you want!
*******************
is the original Bones Brigade the mystery guest for the race?
or is BLR coming to show that the west is best????
come on, can't someone come up with some good gossip? if I read it on the internet, it MUST be true...

Eating a quarter inch by two inch slice of Vidalia onion before each race will improve your ramp starts. It's all about timing.

Juniors ditch is ready to rock.
lips have been weedeatered and wes took his lawnmower to the grass along the edges, so it's all clear and fresh-cut!
we've been laying down heavy films of aluminum on the lips yo.
it's grindalicious.
Glowing Rock Skatepark is resurfacing the other side of the spine ramp. so there should be one side brand new, and the other side was resurfaced within the past year, so everything oughtta be fresh and fast.
looking forward to meeting and riding with folks in just a couple weeks now!
woo hoo!!!

The Mystery Guest is Vince Dooley.
It's not like he has anything to do these days!

Finish the drill, Wesley, finish the drill.

BTW...Mark Richt was having "the usual" at his favorite luncheon spot in Athens today - THE MEAN BEAN!
