Vlad- you went ahead and designed Karl's Avatar?

Actually I saw Karl yesterday and he seems in good spirits. He is still going to skateboard.....though I won't be loaning him any boards anytime soon.

He did decide not to ride in the street and only on slalom courses.

Jk means just kidding, and I was just joking about how since John taught me how to skateboard, he taught me how to injure myself. The whole thing is pretty meaningless, never thought anyone would consider it. But then again with Vlad... anything is posible.

7. Rib protector
8. Neck protector
9. Shin protector
10. Chin protector
11. "You know" protector cup

Vlad,

By the look of all the "Wilsons" in Paris and Grüningen there is a protection gear that is often forgotten. A shoulder protection. In the above competitions it has been more a rule than an exception that you fall on your side/shoulder than on your front/knees.

Strange. I was under the impression that John was against any major injuries. On snow or on asphalt.

Wrist guards is the single very important article you can wear to protect yourself. At least it should be the first one on and last one off. 2 Helmet. 3 Kneepads. 4 Elbowpads.
Highspeed and slalom skating would call for 1+2+3+4 combo.

In your case helmet should be worn at all times. Even when not skating. You wouldn't want to hurt the bright head of yours, would you?
