The attendance at SlalomSkateboarder is not what it used to be with FB taking much of the traffic. It may not be a bad thing as a forum is limited to those who make the effort of going there, whereas FB automatically pushes out all posts to all friends. Anyway, we still believe there is a reason to keep the forum going, but not for all aspects the way it used to be.

As usual omit the stats for the current month as it's not complete.

Interesting stats. This one looks as if the trend is downwards, but a 1.5 months later see below!
We must be doing something right! Look at those stats for April!
All of a sudden December doesn't look that impressive any more.
Thanks for your support!

We have quite an interesting peak here in December 2010. What happened? Elections were held which caused quite some discussions and masses of PMs (although the actual election was held off this site) and the SlalomRanking.com for 2010 became available. (The visits to the ranking is part of this site statistics.)

Well, looks like we are doing pretty well.
I could give you my opinion on why we have a climb/decline in statistics and back it up with dates/events but that is not necessary. I think we are accomplishing what we set out to do.
The site is getting looked at. More and more people from around the world are coming to it. Registration is approaching 400 and it is a dispersed population. Lot's of people from Europe are looking at slalomskateboarder.com and although the "flak" level has been reduced, the content is still excellent.
You hold the bar high depending on what you hold the bar to.
Some of you have taken a vacation or have quit, que sara, maybe see you at a later date.
New members, new enthusiast abound. I personally have had the opportunity to practice with a young Hawaiian woman at the local spot. She is the FIRST woman slalomer that I have come accross in Phoenix in all of my years here. She is enthusiastic and has a beautiful smile walking back up the hill. Determination abounds in this girl and I hope to be able to be a part of her improvement and enthusiasm in racing. Not to mention the others that Tom Blankley is bringing into the sport in Phoenix, they too are coming right along and also have that determination and drive. I hope that all of you have this experience having new people to run cones with, it's fantastic.
On any account, keep up the good work and thank you for contributing to slalomskateboarder.com
