[2008] Index page updates

For the first time I updated the home page with a new story. This may be nothing to many of you but I was sweating bullets finagling all this code source and hoping beyond hope to remember Jani's tutorial session from back in September at the Worlds. This of course was followed by several e-mail and Jani almost repeating the whole session to me AGAIN in written instructions.
It's not quite as harrowing as I expected but I have to admit I yelped a little out loud when I accessed the home page URL . . . and it worked! As anyone who knows me has heard me say repeatedly I am NOT a web guy. This stuff if just absolute Japanese graffitti to me. But I'll keep plugging away and maybe someday I won't think of this stuff as a challenge but more of a routine.
Thanks to Don Campbell for the story and the cool pic of Ella.

Wes, I knew you had it in ya. Your Japanese is pretty good for a southerner. You and Donald now go into the "beautiful man" category... Home page really does look good and reads great! The pics are perfect too - awesome selection.

Thank's Wesley! This is a record for the largest picture so far. But it's a great shot for the front page.
Are you ready for the next few tasks?
- Update link Calendar 2007 to 2008 and point it to the correct topic.
- Update date in the lower right hand corner
- Correct spelling in Donalds texts

Thank you Wesley. Ella skated at Antrim this year. She was a great surprise and my favorite skater to watch this year. I wish we had a dozen like her.
