Just tried slalom

I just tried slalom this weekend for my first time and I am hooked. I bought my first board (Axe II w/ Rtx/s and Zig-zags) and love it. It is much harder than it looks and I have much more respect towards people that slalom. I am glad I got to try, because now I love it. Had to share my stoke with everyone else...

Put your general location in your profile so we can invite you to local events. Slalom is more fun with others to pick up your cones.

I am the only one in my group of friends that slaloms, but I am in the process of spreading the slalom stoke. I live in Southern California, and am going to a Sk8kings event on the 18th so that will be fun. Still not very good, but that is what practice is for

I believe that there are some slalomers in Carlsbad.
