is there any way i can practice or train for TS during the snowy winter months? wallsits, situps, etc?
also, when the snow melts and it gets warmer, is there any good way to get my technique down pat? i'm thinking like a super-tight course (<4' spacing maybe)...or could i just pump for miles and miles as fast as i can?

Doug, core training/strengthening is always a good idea! But you can usually find a venue in the winter to practice tight slalom easier than any other form! A flat surface that you have to pump thru the cones can be found ie: warehouses/ gyms etc...use soft ass wheels in the cold and do your best!
ENJOY!! (while you can)
