Ive done quite a bit of research the past 2 days (im sick) and have wanted to get into slalom for a while now. The setup I have come up with is this:

The board will be custom (I can get a custom cheaper) and these are the specs of that board.

30' L
8.8' W
18' WB 19' WB 20' WB 21' WB
5* degree kicktail
wheel wells
6/8th radial cave front. 3/8th radial cave rear.

From the research ive done this board seems absolutely perfect specs wise.

Trucks wise I will be going most likely with a skennett front and an airflow back (i can get them for pretty cheap). For wheels i will most likely be going with split 66mm or 70mm zigs (83a front 80a rear).

If there is anything I should change please tell me! Any and ALL advice is very appreciated as i'm pretty new to the sport. thanks!

That all looks good to me. My favourite board is very similar (just a slightly narrower cutdown redrilled double kick), but if it is your only board you could consider slightly longer board/wheelbase to cope with bigger faster hybrid and GS courses.
