These are photos of one of our prototype 36" decks. 36.0" long, 9.75" wide, 1" camber, protective sidewalls, built from glass / foam / other neat stuff. Soft, Medium, Stiff and Extra Stiff. First production units will be available before the end of July from 3dm and Bahne. Ballpark pricing around $150 retail.

Rick - the new deck is quite a bit different in construction from the hybrid, and there really isn't anything in terms of feel that I could give you as a comparable.
We'll try to get some decks to your part of the world before long - the Byrd's should be the first in the Southeast, though their decks will likely have Bahne graphics instead of 3dm (otherwise identical).

OMG!
I love the look of that deck. It appears to have a nice taper down as it flows to the rear. Schweet!
Is the top surface rolled slightly? Looks like it has no real flat spot in the surface, rolled thoughout, not just the edges.
I want to ride Bahne in our upcoming local series. Can you tell how excited I am?

That's correct - the top has a modest crown contour from tip to tail, ending at a sidewall instead of rolled/wrapped edges. The bottom is flat through the camber except for contoured wheel wells.

Octane Sport (Octanesport.com) have the new decks in stock ready for supply. Of course the first one out the box had to be ridden, and it is a beaut. Try to get to see one of these, the finish is totaly professional, hard to describe how nice, but put it up against a brand new snowboard and you'll get the idea. HG must be proud. He said we'd love 'em....and we do!
