I dig the sTiCkiNesS and Speed of Grippins -
-but I gotta experiment more with the right DuRoMetErS - for G.S. Riding.

who HAS come out with a PERFORMANCE center set wheel?

... back to the comparison ...
Avalons are great wheels
- but -
Manx are better
(IMHO)
.......Better grip
.......Better slide / re-hookup
.......More predictable / no lip buckle
.......Faster
(like I said, IMHO)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dan bought 3dm with the wheel designalready established.
Why mess with a winning wheel? Now Chicken has come in with a
better wheel.
I'd like to see what Dan's R&D comes up with in response (or Chris
for that matter).
Speaking of ... What about the Grippins niche? No competitors yet?
Who else is going to come out with a center-set performance wheel?

They clear 105 Seismics just fine, as long as you throw a couple speed rings in there... probably won't need to do that if you have the extra fat speed rings that come with the seismics...

I am pretty sure they will fit on the sicecmics becuase the seicmic can't fit center set wheels and I am pretty sure they arn't center set. So probably they will fit.

The lip on 3dm's makes them slower than Manx wheels.
and orange is fast
i assume they would work on seismics, i haven't tried my manx wheels on my seismics yet, i'll check later, i'm feeling a bit lazy right now

How do Manx wheels compare with 3DM Avalons? Shape, offset, speed, grip, wear, etc.
Will they fit on aluminum Seismics?
