Grippins
I have recently been using a set of 84 Grippens as a rear set of wheels. At first they were 'fine and dandy' good grip, great speed and no problems. A few weeks of practice, one comp. and another few days of practice and the wheels have become slow as treacle, the surface is all grainy, and there is evidence of urethane burn( black wavey lines) and i'm wondering whats going on?? Anyone shed light on this, or is this quite normal. The performance differential is enormous and I don't believe I am good enough to kill a set of wheels this quick. These are now consigned to slidey wheels.
