hey im 16 and live in westerly rhode island but im just introducing my self here i just got into slalom my set up is a duane peters foam pocket pistol deck with chickens indy offset with a angles riser up front and bone swiss bearings and avalon wheels i think this board is sweet i plan on getting a tight slalom board probaly a sk8kings axe for now it seems pretty sweet and hope fully soon ill be getting together with joe iacovelli hes gonna help me hopefully we can get together alot and if im good enough ill be at the farm for my first contest i think i have a chance

Glenn,

It's cool to see some young guns getting hyped on slalom.... Sounds like you didn't spare
any finances on that setup you describe....keep it away from the curbs :-)

Dig in... racing is awesome!! and so are the people involved in it....

yea im carefull with my board i even get neervous when my freinds ask to try it i would kill some one if they tried to ollie it

how do i get on the slalom spot isnt it in boston and would it be expensive to get up there evry time by a bus or a train

The Slalom Spot Team is more of just a group of teenage racers setup just to encourage more kids and teens to get into the sport, that and to prove that old school can't rule forever, hehe. We get some equipment occaisionally we make available for team members but otherwise it's really not a huge deal. You don't need to come up to boston.
