Karl,

Worlds is the following weekend. Maybe we can pull some Euro racers? Wouldn't that be cool?

OK, Brian Peck, this one's for you. Some details are posted on a new post for the New England topics, but the race will be two days this year, but a week later to avoid conflicts with Encitas & Kentucky and NASCAR.

September 22 & 23, Saturday & Sunday
Registration posted to NCDSA.com within 2 weeks.

We may host a lower-key event sometime during the summer, but I have to do some checking. C'mon, we can only afford fireworks once a year!

I'm really really really looking forward to the Antrim race again. I'd love to throw something low-key and fun here in CT.

I would love to host a race here in NY in 2007.

I have a very good spot and it seems that permission would be easy to get. (based on a conversation I had with a Brookhaven official in charge of the area.)

It's on Long Island. Approx. 1 hour drive from NYC.

No timer, no time, but I do have cones.

What do you think?

Karl,

Maine race. Well, I'm still trying.

I'm working with a local N-F-P to raise funds for a concrete park in Portland. Eli has the experience and connections with the City of Portland to obtain the permits required to run a race. He has held events the past few years that required permits/street closings. He said he would assist me getting the required permits to run a race. He is interesting in trying slalom and will when you guys stop by on your way to Sunday River.

I'll keep you posted.

Shady lane is in New York, remember you got da farm- the mother of all these races. But something in the Albany area would be good too.

I thought it would be nice if we somehow tried to organize competitions next year, maybe collect points like 2005?

What races are deffinate next year?
Needham is going to be big this year, possible 2 day event with World Class GS(depending on permits). I'll announce the whole deal in January. May 12 & 13th.

Antrim
Ball Mountain Dam?
Magnolia?
CT?
ME?

Any ideas?
