Being a former west coaster and now a southerner, I have to ask just where are the Catskills?

About 2:15 north of NYC - really nice for being so close to the city!

Sweet. My old stomping grounds. Can we do a race from the top of Hunter Mountain all the way down Sunday? I used to ski there in the '70's. LSD optional for Woodstock right?

So what airport? White Plains or Albany or NYC?

That's a cost benefit analysis. Albany and Stewart are closest, then Hartford (BDL) and White Plains, and possibly really cheap are the NYC airports, but come with a longer drive.

Check out Stewart though for cheap Airtran or Jetblue tickets.

Albany and Stewart are 50-60 miles from the resort. Albany has more carriers. Both are easy rides on mostly the NY State Thruway but from opposite directions. Drive time from Newark Liberty is easily 2 hours.

Watch the smokies in NY state, esp. on the thruway - they are everywhere!
