Thanks go out to Dan and his family for hosting this event. We got to do a lot of skating, we ran a TS, HS and GS and we even fit in a mean BBQ session.
It was great to see everyone. Hopefully all of you (and more) will be at the Antrim race in September.

That was a lot of fun, I hadn't even ridden yet this year - this got me back in the mood! Thanks Dan, family, and everyone who helped. And YES, we're racing in Antrim on Sep 13 and 14, it's a bit on the DL once again as I have had trouble organizing a new group of conspirators for this one, and my own schedule has gone crazy. Details shortly!

Thanks to everyone who showed and helped make it another great barbecue party with friends, and yeah , - a skateboard race.

It was another hot day, at least it felt that way after taking multiple, multiple runs. Lots of skating was had by all! Varied skill groupings set up some rivalries: Glenn vs Rick; Terry, Dave and Dan; and Josh vs Bailey; with leads changing hands during the heats. Particular mention for Bailey, who has definitely graduated out of the kids category by laying down some tracks with confidence and style. Several of us wore Z-Boys or other Jay Adams memorabilia to commemorate the recent passing of one of skatings most influential pioneers. An appropriate tribute I think. It was a great day to be a skater!

THE RESULTS:
Tight
1 Glenn Chapmann 12.045
2 Rick Floyd 12.377
3 Terry Whalen 13.406
4 Dan Parrish 14.607
5 Dave Kirkpatrick 14.609 -Ha, Got cha!
6 Josh Howard 17.101
7 Bailey Kirkpatrick DNS

Hybrid
1 Glenn 12.645
2 Rick 12.658
3 Terry 14.578
4 Dan 14.791
5 Dave 15.701
6 Bailey 17.839
7 Josh 18.871

Giant Slalom (Fast, from near the top!)
1 Rick 14.412
2 Glenn 15.371
3 Dan 15.918
4 Dave 17.617
5 Terry 17.764
6 Josh 20.430
7 Bailey 20.441

Thank you Bailey for the homemade scones, Josh for the car repair (sorry 'bout the electric shocks!) and all for friendship.
See you at Antrim in a few weeks!

Dan,

If you want these results included in the ranking could you provide full names of everyone. Also, are these all the riders you had, or just the top ones?

It doesn't matter if this is a low-key race, it's still cool to get all the results of all events into the database.

Thanks,

/Jani

Jani,
Thanks for the offer. These were all the participants this year. The race has been kind of a private party, but guests are always welcome. It is purposely kept as a casual "low key" event due to it's location and lack of official town sanction. I'm sure the points and recognition will none the less be appreciated.
THANX!
Dan
