How is it possible that when I run the script in the slalomranking.com for the Brazilian AM's this season I get the following list:

Place Name Points No Avg
32 Kako Max, BRA 1365 2 420
38 Thiago Gardenal, BRA 1300 2 400
44 Marcio Benevides, BRA 1269 2 390
48 Caco Rato, BRA 1220 2 375
50 Juarez Mascarello, BRA 1210 2 372
52 Iuri Quevedo, BRA 1201 2 370
55 Oscar Medi, BRA 1145 2 352
60 Willian Indião, BRA 1092 2 336
61 Perci Selbach, BRA 1090 2 335
79 Ze Bangel, BRA 1002 2 308
80 Renatao Renatao, BRA 1000 2 308
84 César Ludfi, BRA 990 2 305
89 Renato Serra, BRA 979 2 302
97 Felipe Martins, BRA 935 2 288
101 Joao Vicente, BRA 925 2 285
106 Josue Menezes, BRA 906 2 278
110 Alex Maia, BRA 898 2 276
110 Thomas Lamb, BRA 898 2 276
117 Rodrigo Moreira, BRA 871 2 268
134 Fabio Lampiao, BRA 805 2 268

There is no way Juarez Mascarello could be ahead of Iuri Quevedo.

Juarez took a 6th place a 3rd place and a 9th place on the race

while Iuri had a 2nd a 6th and a 2nd place.

If the ranking is correct then the results of my contest were not correct!!! but I don't think so.
I am sure there is a mistake somewhere in the script.
Could someone please explain it to me?
again I repeat we only had one contest.

Thank you.

This will not explain everything but:

The results you are showing above are incomplete (e.g. only 10 racers in the Tight Slalom). The results reported to the World Ranking had many more racers involved (e.g. Dominic and Greg) .... Those results are not shown in the text of your message.

Shouldn't your results be like this: (for the tight slalom)
Place Racer Points
1 Dominik Kowalski, Germany 500
2 Greg Fadell, USA 450
3 Thiago Gardenal, Brasil 420
4 Caco Rato, Brasil 400
5 Marcio Benevides, Brasil 380
6 Juarez Mascarello, Brasil 365
7 Willian Indião, Brasil 350
8 Perci Selbach, Brasil 340
9 Flavio Badenes, Netherlands 330
10 Ze Bangel, Brasil 322
11 César Ludfi, Brasil 315
12 Oscar Medi, Brasil 308
13 Renatao Renatao, Brasil 300
14 Renato Serra, Brasil 295
15 Joao Vicente, Brasil 290
16 Josue Menezes, Brasil 285
17 Felipe Martins, Brasil 280
18 Thomas Lamb, Brasil 278
19 Alex Maia, Brasil 275
20 Fabio Lampiao, Brasil 272

All of the racers must be counted.

But still, I see inconsistencies not explained by this. (e.g. Iuri does not show up in tight slalom listing on slalomranking.com)

Thank you for your post Pat,

What happened was that Dominik and Greg were Pro's but their times were written on the AM's spreadsheet in order to fix this we just deleted their names and moved Kako and Iuri up (Kako and Iuri were the AM' s whose times were immediately after Dom's and Greg's) like you can read on the spreadsheets that were send to Hans. So Iuri's and Kako's names do appear on the TS list, please have a look at the furthermost right side of the list. That problem was then fixed on the HS spreadsheet.

Still, like you said, this doesn't explain the results I get when I run the script. Iury has to be ahead of Juarez.

Funny enough the girls results on the ISSA ranking do match our results on the contest.

Ok, I see.

Iuri and Kako is missing in the Tight slalom result. I will add them and that will surley make things turn out the way you expect. Thanks for checking these things up.

The results I get sometimes are not very easy to figure out. ;-)

Right now it should be very easy for you to check yourselves. Every racer has a racer page wich explains exactly how the ranking points are calculated for every class they may be in.

And all the result lists for all the ranking classes have been automatically calculated as well on the event page for that event.

Thank you very much Hans, yes I agree that the sheets were kind of confusing, my apologies.

Congrats on the good job you are doing so far keeping the rankings up to date, I realize how difficult it must be.
