We had a great day at the Pump yesterday -- as usual. Lots of legendary racers showed to check out the current scene -- more on that later. We are still on the road visiting family but the podium result is:

1st Richy Carrasco
2nd Brent Kosick
3rd Jonny Miller
4th Lynn Kramer

All the rest with times, pics, etc. coming ASAP. Kai from Silverfish was there snapping pics and Thanks to everyone who came out.

Cheers!

We kicked off at Pizza Port for the Slalom Symposium Friday night which was a fun and tasty warm up for the GS on Saturday. We were doing our best to get things rolling early to allow racers time to make it to the G & S festivities at the WaveHouse. Lynn was on it getting the timing system in place, Richy & Jonny set the course and it was on. Racers had 3 runs each, a .2 cone penalty -- fastest time wins.

Richy hit the fastest time in his first run and held the lead till the end to secure the win.

Brent and Jonny -- both looking smooth -- were neck and neck finishing 200ths of a second apart for 2nd and 3rd.

Brent "The Sickness" Kosick - 2nd Place

Jonny "Thriller" Miller - 3rd Place

Lynn was hot on their tail clinching the 4th podium placing.

The course was fun and fast -- and stoked to say -- no crashes for the day.

We were honored to see some legendary slalom figures show up at the Pump to check out the racing including Henry Hester, Tommy Ryan, Bob Skolberg, Dennis Shufelt, Di Dootson, Marty Schaub, Chris Yandall & Jamie Hart. Baby H (Marty Schaub), Chris Yandall & Jamie Hart were all racing too!

Special Thanks to our time keeper Sean, starter Joy and Adam & Justin for cone marshalling. Thanks to Kai from Silverfish for coming out and shooting pics too! Big Props to Khiro Bob & wife Lou Ann who were on the scene to lend support and a big box of Khiro goodies for the racers. Awesome day and Thanks to everyone who came out to share the stoke.
