woke up in my clothes again this morning
don't know exactly where I am
I should heed my doctor's warning
he does the best with me he can
he claims I suffer from delusion
I'm so confident I'm sane
it can't be an optical illusion
so how can you explain?
shadows in the rain

Hopefully the rain expected for Saturday will be delayed.

See you all tomorrow!

I'm thinking of adopting the name "Jay-B". Watch for my new CD, "The Very Pale Album" on Dagger Records. It's all skate-related songs. The first single will be "99 Problems (But a Ditch Ain't One)." Just keepin' it real, yo.

Harms and CB,

I'm one step ahead of you guys. Last year I rode my unlimited and pvd's.

This year I said WTF.

I'll be riding the Wonkavator.

Nobody push the red button, or else.

Drove in? Check. Arrived late? Check. Smoked the course? The jury's still out on that one.

Dunno if Rick's going to set the same course, but if he does, expect a lot of sideways g-forces, i.e. BIG offsets.

Typical internal monologue on last year's course:

There's no good way of discerning
How much longer to keep turning;
Oh, my God, my quads are burning
And my guts are really churning...
Yikes!

Hit one cone and you'll be learning
Instant DQ you'll be earning
For a "rebate" you'll be yearning
To the top you'll be returning
Stand in line!

Dammit Oles......i didnt need to read that...

Here's what the voices in my head have been singing to me for months...(no lie...dont ask)

There's no earthly way of knowing
Which direction we are going
There's no knowing where we're rowing
Or which way the river's flowing
Is it raining? Is it snowing? Is a hurricane a'blowing?
Not a speck of light is showing
So the danger must be growing
Are the fires of hell a'glowing?
Is the grisly reaper mowing?
Yes!
The danger must be growing
For the rowers keep on rowing
And they're certainly not showing
Any signs that they are slowing!

Stop the boat.

Youre going to get there WAY earlier than us, we'll see ya on the hill
As for that dang hill....we've been riding what we THOUGHT was a GS hill last fall...but it may as well be flat compared to their hill.....i'm geeked for it though...should be a riot.
(and why do i get the feeling that you'll rip up the course?)

and i've got to learn how to do those quotes

Jon....didnt you drive in last year too?....arrive late....and smoke the course?......aint gonna mess with a winning formula are ya?

Man, I wish I could play guitar like Neal Schon....

Anyways Chris, I get to Atlanta at 9:54 fri. morning. I'm makin plans to pick Mr. Sydia up and head on over to Athens.

As much as I ride bigger hills around here, I've never really set any big GS courses.
I'm looking forward to Trade st. It'll be my first GS test....

Will you hold my medical card for me?

In a normal world, we'd roll in on Friday around midday. Then again, we're dealing with me, Goad and several others, so maybe the word normal doesn't apply. ;-)

Well Ole Neil put it best when he sang...

"Know when you see him,
Nothing can free him.
Step aside, open wide,
It's the loner."
