2010 ISSA Slalom Skateboarding Rules Booklet

Post by Wesley Tucker » Fri Feb 19, 2010 12:47 am

The current ISSA 2010 ISSA Slalom Skateboarding Rules is now available as a 2-page booklet:

http://www.slalomskateboarder.com/Media ... ARules.pdf

It prints as two 8.5 x 11 2-sided pages. Print, fold and collate. Almost every conceivable situation during a race (protests, re-runs, cones, course design, equipment, timing, etc.) is covered. Never again wonder what the rule "might" be. With this booklet you'll always know what the rule IS.

Yes it is the latest edition so far.
We made a couple of changes in 2011 (basically just approving slalom cross), but the new edition isn't out yet. We hope to have it out in less than a month.

Thanks Jani.
It might be good idea to gather all relevant data in one place:
- rules
- cone judge instructions
- addrerss where to send results
- etc

just in case there is others as stupid as me :)

Absolutely! We need too. There are too many places where all such information could reside here at the site. Most of it should go into the Resources header in the top menu. Little by little we'll take it there.

It would be appreciated if something could be done with the orientation of the booklet so it is less of a nightmare to print out? Thanks

It's apparently a nightmare to edit also.

I hope we can improve it.

Print out two pages, turn them over, print them again, fold in half is a nightmare?

We intend to update both:

- The full rules booklet, A4 printing easy-to-print
- The compact version, for those that want a pocket version

We should be done soon now.

Thanks Jani, good idea.

Would it also be possible to get same place instructions and address for race result sendings.

These are the 2012 rules

As they are now up, since some time I'm closing this 2012 topic and opening a new 2012 rule book topic.
