Salut Fred!

The production SpeedCruzer is 6 maple plies sandwiched between a thin formica ply on top and a thicker one on bottom, so 8 plies total.

And the production SpeedCarver is 9 maple plies + 1 formica ply on bottom, so 10 plies total.

The SpeedCarver: concave, 10 plies (9 maple + 1 fromica bottom), sharp responsive edges on top + rounded bottom. Drop-through fits Randal RII-DH, Bear Grizzlies and Smokeys, Force R7-C7, and JimZ's (with a little filing).
