Trip to Dusseldorf

Post by Flavio Badenes » Tue Feb 26, 2008 8:23 pm

Gents, please read bellow.
My idea is to leave on Friday eve. Drink some beer and eat a pizza in Dusseldorf. Sleep at the Motel One (cheap at 20 euros per night per person)
Saturday morning we are already there, so no stress. Saturday eve back to Dusseldorf, going to the pool (I do know the way now, I guess.... :-))

Sunday morning off to cologne hürth.

Please just let me know who is going!!

PS: No worries I volunteer to push you guys down the GS ramp so you can get enough speed....
Flavio´s push + GS ramp = FLYING!! :-)

ik ben van plan om er ook heen te gaan, vorig jaar was het erg tof!
wel moet ik nog even kijken hoe en wat, want het zal op een erg low budget manier moeten gebeuren voor mij. ;)

je hoort nog van me flavio!

Hi Silvio the racing locations are great. The one in Oberkastle where the TS and H will be is not super fast but it is a lot of fun and the TS course is demanding. The hill outruns on flat terrain so you don´t need to worry.
The GS site, specially with the high take off ramp and a dual course will be a fast mfucker. Most probably you will need to foot brake or be preparared to take a right turn at a reasonably fast speed, hoping that no vehicles are coming up the road.

In another words it is a lot of FUN!!!!!!!!

Let´s try to stay in the same hotel, the Motel One in Dusseldorf is very good and cheap. We will keep in touch.
Go practise now!!! :-)

I'll join the club.
Good practise for Paris and like to test my ""beginner" skills when there's more at stake than my ego.

Cyril go to the website and register.
I will be going to a party tomorrow. Brazilian food. That means eat the whole day. I think my chances of skating tomorrow are pretty slim.

Man this is looking good. I think me, John, Cyril and Silvio will be there. May be Vlad wants to join. I found out this pizza place in a shopping center near Dusseldorf (near the motel 1), the onwer is an italian guy. We can eat there saturday eve and the hit the Pavel pool afterwards.
It doesn´t matter how well we place in the competition it is all about having a good time together.

I will forgive you this time... :-)

Great to see that the team is complete.

Let's hope for good weather this coming weekend so that we can train a bit.
We need to get Cyril and Wouter on the top of that 3 meter high ramp!! :-)

On top won't be a problem. I'm not that old I can't climb up a 3 meter ramp.
It's the coming down of it I'm worried about.

But never mind.
I will take the challenge and will go down, one way or the other.

So which day of this weekend will be our RAMP day. I will order my fulface helmet in advance at the Liddl..........

transportation

Post by Cyril Schardijn » Mon Mar 17, 2008 9:21 pm

I drive my company car to Köln and have three seats available. So no need to pay for fuel and more left for booze.
Wouter told me he would join aswell, so there are two left.
Let me know if you want to have a ride.
