The brazilian vert girl skater Karen Jonz became World Champion for the second year in a row.

Skateboarding is now the SECOND, you read it right, the SECOND most popular sport in Brazil. The most popular is obviously football. There are 1,2 skateboards por household in Brazil!

It is always great to see the girls ripping!
Girls do deserve more attention from the skateboarding media though. Not from a sort of "girls specialized media" but rather from the "normal" skateboarding media. I am pretty much sure that will come one day, but we are not there yet.
