Voting is now closed (we're now Jan 10, 23.00 - 11 pm CET).

We're checking the results before posting the official result.

The "public" vote is as follows:

Bruno 39 votes
Gustavs 36 votes
Colin 11 votes

Thus Bruno and Gustavs are clearly ahead.

The next step in our check was to validate that those that voted were actually eligible to vote in this election. In the first count, we've validated well more than 12 votes for both Bruno and Gustavs. That is enough for us to announce that Bruno and Gustavs have been elected to be part of the ISSA BOD for 2025. We'll thus announce the results as such!

Following the December 20 deadline for nominations, we have three candidates for the two open positions within the BOD. The candidates are:

Bruno Oliveira (BRA) - Currently on the BOD, and in the World Skate Slalom Working group, and helped prepare both the 2022 and the 2024 World Skate Games and he's currently looking into the possibilities of hosting the World Championships in Brazil in the Autumn of 2025.

Gustavs Gailitis (LAT) - Well-known racer with 20 years of experience as a slalom skateboarder, from racing in Juniors and Amateurs to two World Champions titles in Pro group (Special slalom in 2023 and Tight slalom in 2024), Gustavs currently serves as EU status marshal helping coordinate EU events. He also organizes slalom and downhill events, as well as kids camps for next generation of slalom skateboarders.

Colin Beck (AUS) - Colin is part of the World Skate downhill working group and has been active on the Australian slalom scene, as well as the international downhill scene for many years. He's eager to increase collaboration between the slalom and downhill communities to mutually increase visibility of our disciplines.

All three are excellent candidates and each can add experience and their respective perspectives to the BOD. With the BOD set to a total of 5 positions, of which only two are open at this time, we're now setting up the election so that You, our membership, can make Your choice.

The election will be open from January 1 to 10, closing at January 10 23:00 (11 pm CET).

- Anyone attending a race in 2024 and who has got their results listed in the SlalomRanking database for 2024.
- Paid members for 2024 and 2025 (paid no later than Dec 31st)
- 2024 BOD members
- Life-time free members
