The Board Of Directors today reviewed all the "existing" race sanctions and updated races sanctioned with the previous race statuses. Majors, mains, primes, basics and plains are now sanctioned appropriately as either World Cups, Continentals, Nationals or Regionals.

In the future all ISSA sanctioned races will be awarded with the new status designations.

Questions to every member:

Are all the 2010 events in the calendar?
Do you know of any events missing (including passed ones!)
It would be good if this calendar would be a complete listing of every event no matter how small. Last year we had about 80 in total. How about this year?

Please help out!

I took the freedom of updating the EU part of the summary schedule in the calendar filling up the Prime slots with those events that have asked for Prime status in the autumn, or are worthy of one for their expected attendance and level of racing. If we could add a Spanish prime event there, I think we've done what we could to create some kind of distribution of "old" ranking statues over the EU. Until a new ranking system shows up, it gives us a chance to obtain a ranking using the "old" system.
