The course setter will be Janis Kuzmins LAT and ???

Double line like special (no straight), Qualification 2 runs and 4 Juniors, 4 Women, 24 Men Head to Head (ISSA Rules 6.2.)

10.00 – 11.00 Practice Kids, Teens, Juniors and Women
11.00 2 runs Qualification Kids, Teens, Juniors and Women ( best time counts )
12.00 Opening ceremony with all participate racers
All 14 countries with flags arrival on theirs boards
13.30 2 runs Qualification Men ( best time counts )
16.00 first part H2H Men the best 24, 2 runs ( position 9. against 24, 10. against 23,
8. against 22…..)
16.30 Head to Head Final 4 Juniors
16.45 Head to Head Final 4 Women
17.00 Head to Head Final 16 Men

> Sunday Dual HS, 4% slope 60 cones, periphery of the town

this race will be for sure the biggest ever in the Women category.
Please, may you consider the idea of making a top 8 cut for us?
It is not often we can have a such high level race for women. It could be good for the show too.
I really hope it could fit the schedule.

This is due to changes that merged the Pro and Am division (which is totally stupid). But there was no 4m distance in the TS. After all it is more important to have a downhill course with appropriate cone spacing rather than a flat course combined with long cone distance. That'll just kill the fun and won't attract any spectators either. Too bad real dh slaloms like the GS in Grenoble are too gnarly for some of the folks out there...

However, why should I even bother. I'm enjoying races with over 230 participants. That's 200 more that the last two slalom races I attended. Sad story, eh?

This isn't sad. It's reality.
Fortunately at worlds will 90 riders together.
We want set up easier Tight slalom for qualification and for Final 24 set up more difficult.

Too bad Ramon & Dominic won't be at the Worlds. I can't see it being as exciting as if they were there. The bar for sure would be raised if they were racing.

I don't agree, I have a board for tight slalom, I don't want to have to qualify for the tight slalom on a long-board through wide cones.

That's a different course and a different race.

Thanks for all the organising - I think it will be a great event - and it is always fun to hang out with the Czech racers, they made us all very welcome at the last race.

cat is as interested as any woman that races can be reg the results.
i think its a common trend for a few organizers to delay or not post up at all full results asap.
if everybody is still watching,please note the emphasis on the word "if" it should be common sense or some kind of professionalism to post results as fast as possible.
that is the only way to keep it alive i guess.

FRANKENSTEIN

I must admit at first I was disappointed that the tight would be on flat. Of course, because I have one of the best hills in the world to skate. But what it did was level the playing field. No pun intended. Not all of the competitors have the same privaleges, and some prefer different types of racing. The course was called out last spring, and everyone knew what to expect.
Cat, you are WRONG. The race without a few crybabies (no names) was hands down the most fun European race I have ever been to (except Silverstone, a British local race) primarily due to the lack of crying, protesting, etc. All the racers that came to Worlds were good sportsmen and sportswomen. They took their wins, losses, and spills with style.
Congratulations to Leinete who worked hard to win the tight. Racing on tight might not bring the rush of a 30 mile per hour hill, but it shows extreme athleticism and dedication to a discipline.
I had a great time, and congratulations to everybody who raced and had fun. Thanks to Josef who made it happen.
