Here it is:
Pat Chewning wrote:How much it costs.
EUR 20 or USD 25.
Pat Chewning wrote:How to pay.
paypal to issa@slalomskateboarder DOT com
or email me for alternative methods.
Pat Chewning wrote:Duration of membership.
At the moment unlimited. A new board of directors will ultimately decide how to progress from where we are now.
Pat Chewning wrote:How many votes you can buy.
Max five per person.
Pat Chewning wrote:Transfer or "proxy" of votes from one person to another.
Personally I'm against it. Each person votes for himself, unless of course there is a meeting in a physical location, in which case we'll allow transfer or "proxy" of votes to someone who can attend.
Pat Chewning wrote:Other info.
ISSA members get one vote,
Site sponsors get membership included in the "package",
Old ISSA representatives got one vote each at the time we announced the new ISSA.
The original site investors (Jack, myself, Donald, Heiko and Gilmour) got three votes each for their USD 75 contribution to assure the site ownership.

- We need to assure the continued existance of this forum.
- For certain decisions we need to be able to decide through some kind of democratic system.
- We need a body that we can refer to when organizing events. "This event is sanctioned by ISSA". Even if nothing else, at least it sounds good.
- We need guidelines to some aspects of race organization.
- We need guidelines to competition rules, so we know what to expect when going to a race.
- It would be cool if there was a joint effort to bring out another issue of Slalom! mag
How this is done remains to be discussed and decided. But at least we have a group of people who are allowed to vote on this topic. Together we'll take the next step.
Make sure nothing relies upon just one person. I've carried the ISSA hat for a while now, but have been unable to really step things up. I now invite you all to take over the hat.
