ISSA - International Slalom Skateboarding Association

A number of you have expressed an interest in organizing the Euros for 2013. At the ISSA BOD we would like to make a decision ASAP, as on one side it's critical for organizers to have plenty of time to negotiate with sponsors and plan the event to make sure the race is an absolute success; and on the other we can "anchor" the date in the race calendar early on for other organizers to adapt.

In that sense, we urge you to submit Euros applications to the EU Marshals by November 30th. EU Marshals will then submit their recommendations to the BOD for final decision, which will take place by the end of the year.

Should you have any question or need any help, please contact the EU Marshalls and/or your National Coordinator.

Riccardo : My project is ready since September. Where can I send you the "ISSA SANCTION CONTEST APPLICATION" . We already have some autorisation from the city and are reaching sponsor to cover the event. Antibes longskate has a great and long experience of organisation (since 1999). Just want to communicate our project to continue our preparation.

PS : I'm not very friend with computer and my english is sometime approximative!! Just give me your mail then I send you my project.

We have received a couple of candidates for Euros 2013, but nevertheless I'm posting a reminder here.

For all other Main and Prime events 2013, we'd also appreciate your applications as soon as possible. Some dates have been posted already and it's time to iron down the final calendar. For US events there's an active topic by Lynn Kramer at FB, ISSA group, regarding race planning and low cost race insurance.
