The daily prize ceremony will normally happen on the plaza at the bottom of the GS course [Actually in the park at the bottom of the HS/TS road]. There we'll have a large LED wall which will be used to display results etc.

There will be a prize ceremony, per day, for the top three men and women, with medals, flags, national anthem etc. On the 15:th we're planning an awards banquet for the evening starting 18:00 (location tbc) for the overall podium with prize money down to 5th place (equal amounts for men and women). The overall award is not considered "official" by World Skate. It takes all three disciplines into account, so if you skip one, you'll inevitably be on the lower part of the overall result.

SCHEDULE

We've spent countless hours discussing the schedule to make it doable, to extend the skating as much as we could (we've got many racers so unfortunately, we don't have time for those long days of H2H).
Also, we tried to divide the schedule in a way that you don't need to be there all day waiting, that's why we divided MEN in A and B.

We have 3 groups:

Women - all women
Men A - all the pre-qualified MEN
Men B - all national selection appointed by each federation

PRACTICE DAY 11/09 Wednesday

For GS it's divided in groups, please check your time slot. We won't have the starting ramp on the GS for practice day as both ramps will be used for TS and HS training. You can have as many runs as you can squeeze in your time slot. For GS the first 40 min or so we're using only the lower part of the hill. When you've got that part under control, we'll move higher up. Both start ramps will be at the HS/TS venue.
For TS and HS, the courses will be open all day (from 11am till 5pm), one side TS and the other HS. You can skate as much as you want between those times. We'll have starting ramps on both.

GIANT SLALOM DAY 12/09 Thursday

One warm up run for each rider.
We're running MEN B and MEN A followed, that's is because the weather can be a factor on the qualification times, so we don't want to put them too apart from each other.
All riders will have 2 runs, best one counts.

If, and only if, we are done with all by 4pm, we're going to give an extra run to the TOP 16 MEN and TOP 16 WOMEN. If we are done by 4:30pm we'll do the extra run only for top 8. And if we're not done by then, there won't be an extra run.

The extra run will only be to better your position, not a start over. Your other 2 runs will still count, so with the extra run, it will best of 3 instead of best of 2.

We'll do our best to do the extra run, I'm sure everyone would like to skate a bit more, if possible, I would at least. Plus, that's good for audience, so that would be a FINAL for GS, it brings the hype up as the top 16 can change position till the end.

They will try to provide a bus shuttle to get back up to the start, and it's taking a different road up.

HYBRID DAY 13/09 Friday
TIGHT DAY 14/09 Saturday

One warm up run on each side for each rider.
Check your time slot on the chart. You'll have on timed run on each side for qualifying, best run counts.

Again, as we trying to extend our racing to the maximum. If we're done by 3pm. We'll run an extra 2 runs between places 9-16 MEN and WOMEN. So, if you're between these positions, you can still improve and skate a bit more. Not a start over, best run out of 4 will count. And you can only improve till 9th place as you didn't go to the final. Again, this will only happen if we're on time.
If we're not on time, we won't have these extra runs.

Then finals is top 8 for MEN and WOMEN, head to head.

EXTRA DAY 15/09 Sunday

Hopefully we won't make use of it, but, if by any reason we couldn't do one of the disciplines, we'll do it on the extra day.
We're also planning on an Overall Prize ceremony and get together on Sunday. But we don't how that will be. We're still trying to get a venue for that, it's hard as this isn't something that World Skate usually does and we're not there on site to push it.
