Martin D was running a Eurofighter prototype in Antibes. The new deck arrived late afternoon the day before the event at Pierre Samray's Board Shop. Pierre picked up the deck and then delivered it by motorbike to Martin at the race site. Martin drilled and built up that board overnight before racing it the following day.

Factory to podium in twenty-four hours.
