This is just to let you know that my new Roe board worked well!
I put together the new board just in time for the Sunday tight slalom tunnel race in Kreuzlingen, Switzerland. After a few practice runs I felt pretty good on the board and decided to use it in the race.
The course was a bit tight, too tight for most of the Swiss skaters with longer boards, but most of the foreign skaters (Price, Stride, Brockman, Eggers and others) found it good. As a matter of fact Chris Eggers set the course, so sure he was pleased with it!
In the practice I felt pretty good, and the board was sweet and fast with Tracker RTX, RTS and Avalons. As the time went by the course became very slippery and dangerous.
I even DQ'd in one of the qualifying runs, but luck was on my side as one the time counted, so I could still qualify with a good time.
For the rest of the race it just got more and more slippery but I managed to stay on the board, and stay fast, and took top honors by winning over Paul Price in the Sunday event.
This was my first attempt on a Roe board, and I can only say that I am pleased with it!
Thank you Gareth!

Sorry guys, no sexy pictures (like those of John) in this post...
Just wanted to let you know I'm looking forward to try my new Roe board, but ever since coming back from Morro Bay it's either been raining, or I've had too much work. But I'm off to Switzerland tomorrow for the Tunnelfest! Wow!
Stay tuned...
