Well I'm stuck in a wheel chair and I have to decide whether I'm going to ride ever again when I can walk in a month.

Karl-
The wood core "Performance Series" boards are great with a nice responsive, snappy flex. They are also very torsionally stiff - no twisting like a typical wood laminate board. The foam core boards ride significantly better and are definitely a higher performance board. It comes down to a couple of things; what type of ride are you looking for in a board, and how much do you want to spend. (the wood boards are US$95.00 and the foam core boards are US$235.00)
For the money, the wood laminate "Performance Series" are a great deal! But, then so are the foam core boards!!!
Sorry if this isn't much help...
Isn’t it great to have choices!

I am trying to decide whether to get roe wood deck for $180 or the foam deck for $225. I only have expirence on my neighbors borrowed old turner hybrid deck, could someone tell me the pro/cons of the deck with foam?
