I think we should be able to do it, although it's not official yet. Storrow drive was recently repaved in downtown boston.

I am scouting now for a spot for the second day, any suggestions Karl@slalomspot.com

Slalomspot Open might just happen again. I'll keep you posted.

Check out Naphte Magazine for pictures of the 2004 boston race spot.(it's the same as JG's race site)

2006 Slalom Season - July 1 & 2nd, Ottawa, Canada

Post by Claude Regnier » Wed Aug 24, 2005 11:49 pm

The 3rd Annual Dovercourt Open

July 1 & 2nd in Ottawa Canada.

This event will be run as a sanctioned Canadian Slalom Championship. The 1st. since 1990. It will be an Open international event. A,B, C & D categories as well as kids and womens. We are hoping to have a Pro field in attendance for this one.

Boston is looking to host part 2 on the 3rd and 4th of july.

This will make the a 4 day International Slalom fest.

Should the organisers of the Boston leg not be able to confirm participation by early in 2006 we will run a 3 day event in Ottawa and will find a suitable road to run a GS or Super G.

Think ahead, EH!
