Pat,
One of the reasons I chose that date was it's proximity to the Worlds. I thought some of the racers attending the Worlds might want to come a week early.
If I decide to do this race I will apply for ISSA sanctioning.

The only event I'm aware of is the Antrim NH slalom race. I think they are going to soon apply for an ISSA sanction....
Not sure if your event would conflict with that at all ...

Possible date for Super G and Downhill Combined Event
I'm thinking of staging a Super G and Downhill Combined Event on September 22, 2007. The race would be held on Turri Road, site of the 2004 and 2005 World's Super G event.
Combined placings from each event would determine the winner.
I would like to solicit racer feedback regarding the proposed date.
