Not this year either!

This event will not happen in 2005 but we will continue to work on getting this event off the ground.

we are however holding the 2nd Annual Dovercourt Open on July 1 & 2 in Ottawa.

We hope to see some our US Slalom buds make the trip to The Great White North.
Many Happy Pumps!

Capital Cup

As previously mentioned some of us are looking to combine a Canadian & American event and call it The Capital Cup.

At this point and time The Gathering location (in DC) is available for July 3rd & 4th. There are people interested in putting the Us leg of the event on.

What we would need to know is: Who would be willing to try to make one or both? We are hoping to be able to have you book a one way flight to Ottawa for the July 1 & 2 contest then we would depart the evening of the 2nd on a charter to DC and race on the 3rd & 4th.

You would need to book another one-way to your home destination. Please consider this and either post here or send me an e-mail with your thoughts. The Gathering location would host a Dual TS & single lane GS. In Ottawa we will likely host a TS & Long Hybrid.

Only competitors attending both events can win the (soon to be ) coveted, Capital Cup :)

Send email to sk8park@bellnetDOT.ca re:Capital Cup

Thanks to the DC crew for looking into the possibilities.
Many Happy Pumps!
