How many races did you attend in 2004?

About a year ago Corky posted a question as to how many races each skater attended in 2003. I thought it would be worth repeating the question for the 2004 season, and in a separate thread ask about your plans for 2005.

This is depending on how you count. For myself I only counted races of World Ranking status Prime or better. I did not include all our local races in Stockholm.

I'd say anything that people feel was a race counts. You shouldn't count a timed practise session.

Keep on voting!

5 slalom races for me:
- Valberg (French Championship)
- Paris World Cup
- Cologne (Euro)
- St Germains (fun French event)
- Antibes World Cup

I hope to participate to two more slalom races at least this year (so 7...)
and perhaps a few speed downhill races

But in 2004 I didn't ride only slalom races but also some great longboard events:
Hautacam Freeride (Pyrenes) , Chamrousse Freeride (Alps), the first freeride in Belgium, St Germain (Britany), 3 times in Dampierre St Nicolas (Normandy), Roquebrune (near Monaco), Antibes Midnight BoarderX, D308 session when the "7laux derby" were canceled
and a great slalom session in the ICC underground in Berlin

And more and more events are announced this year in France!!!

I like to watch.

How many really counted

Why does it matter how many races I did last year.
If the races don't count to WR or are so low ranked it is pointless, especially in the pro catagory.

I do not race only for points...

More to the point is:
how many did you miss that you could have gone too?
Nobody expects everyone to turn up to every event, in the UK we need to attend 2/3 of the races, but if you miss races that are local, even small, this reduces the future support from the organisers.

I do not race for points but it is nice to be able to get some.
