One of the best East Coast slalom venues in terms of having both good pitch and surface- no crown on the road either. It has potential for one of the best race sites.
Setting a course on the steep hill was tricky though as there were places where the pitch changed and hte speed of the course was more difficult to control. I set about 3 courses and still have yet to nail that hill.
In a lot of ways it could be the world's most central slalom venue in that it is about equidistant for all slalomers- being about 5.5 hours for Vermonters, 5.5 hours for Californians, 4 hours for FLA, and 5-6 hours from Europe. Only Claude and Wesley would be likely to spend more travel time.

Ah Troy, sorry I didn’t see your reply til now……just got back from skating 2 different courses at 2 places with Senior Gilmour …And yes, one was a 100 cone dash. Damn, 100 cones looks unbelievable when you’re actually looking at it and JG sure tore it up. I timed him (stopwatch) at 20.86 with about 8 cones. Best I could do was 23.56 with 8-10 cones down. Tough stuff, but slalom is fun, eh? Worst part about the 100 cone thing is setting it.
We then went to PNC…13’s venue of choice, and Chris, Gilmour set a blister of a TS down the big side; ya woulda loved it. That’s where we ride from now on
Troy, if the weather looks ok for tomorrow……

hahaha, I wish. My wife and I are at my parents house about 30miles south of Syracuse, NY....we have 14" of snow on the ground and it is 17 degrees out...blah!
On the plus side I did get some "snurfing" in this mrong on a vintage brunswick snurfer with original yellow rope!
I can't wait to get home to cold yet snow free NYC
