Bruce! Glad to see you finally made it to a slalom-exclusive website. 'Twas a bit distracting having to wade through all that longboard and buttboard rabble, eh?

By the way, I do hope you realize how much YOU OWE ME! After all, it's not like I got back from Morro and PUBLICIZED the relative times of the various PARALLEL SKATERS from the FCR spreadsheet.

So, anyway, who's yo' daddy?

Hi Bruce. I still cherish our Boston memories.

Yeah, especially the cherished memory of some tall blonde guy riding off in a taxi with some other guy's ride home.

Wait. That wasn't me remembering that, it must have been somebody else?:-D

Why take a taxi when you can catch a ride on a skateboard behind a Cadillac full of people who’s facial expressions tell ya “we’re carrying it”, you, punkass-crackah-*********? Every policeman at every intersection was my best friend during the fun ride!
What we share with Bruce, Todd and Ilva is surviving Gilmour’s slalom camp the next day.

Come on Wes...simma down now, simma down now....And while you were busy reviewing our relative times during qualifying, I was looking back at you during our two dual runs on the Sunday course on Main Street.

Also Vlad...If you get a shot w/ Jani in Paris with the Eiffel Tower, I want the next run. And why stop there, let's set a course in Zermatt w/ the Matterhorn in the background, or along the banks of the Thames next to Tower Bridge, or...

Yeah, you were looking back at me at the start when I was standing on the start ramp chuckling out loud!

It's the OTHER END of the street that matters! Besides, I know you were behind me: otherwise, how could you have seen me fall?

Ah, gotcha there!

Bruce, you gotta make it to the Gathering in the Spring. A whole weekend of skating for fun, hanging out in DC, some really cool racers and the cheapest motels of any major metro areas in America! A connection from the Bay to Dulles can at times be dirt cheap. If United keeps falling, hell, maybe they'll pay YOU to fly on their stinkin' planes?

Give it some thought. If you do make it, don't worry about a rental car or getting around. Between me and a couple of dozen guys around DC, getting a ride anywhere anytime is no problemo.

See 'ya in May!

Hey I remember I met Bruce last summer at GGP in June. Really cool dude, and he actually gave me some tips unlike everybody else. And those Formula 1 pit shirts absolutely rock!!!

I'm calling Bruce vs. Wes the Slalom grudge Series of 2003. If you went to a race for any reason last year, it was to see Dylan and Josh go at it. This year, my money is on Wall St.

I was trying to figure out why I wasn't in the picture of Bruce at Morro Bay on the SS.com home page. Then it dawned on me: I'm so far out ahead that I'm way out of frame!

A World Champion in our midst

Post by Wesley Tucker » Mon Jun 13, 2005 5:05 pm

This topic has been dormant for a LONG TIME, but I noticed something this morning to dig it up.

Our newest registered member is none other than 2002 World Giant Slalom Champion Charlie Ransom. Glad to see the Internet has finally reached Lake Tahoe! :-)

As far as I'm concerned, Slalom can never get to "Icky!"
