Exactly. The frustrating part is that when the site requires work at a computer console, skatin' suffers. Ironically, it's the high volume of visits and participation that can lead to glitches. We prefer it when it just runs along on its own. "Go Skate!" and we mean it.

Yeah... well it all started around 1pm Pacific on Monday. We caught some database dumps and links from search engines failing like crazy...Yahoo, then Mac, then Google...then the only people coming to the 'fish were the ones that clicked a bookmark. A tech decided to "fixit" and took us down for an hour, right at 5-6pm... pass the antacids.
Then, after a major database rebuilding, the hosting service prepared an upgrade to the Apache database and POOOOF!!! down for almost four freakin' hours, starting around 3:30am. The world didn't know which sliding wheel was best for pie and we guzzled Mylanta.
It wasn't you, or your computer, Wes!

Well, whatever it was is corrected. Forums are up as of 10:25 EST.
The home page, though, still appears to be disabled.
Nothing to see here. Just move along and go about your business. Nother to see here.

I HATE these kinds of topics, but I have to ask if anyone is having issues with Silverfish? Since yesterday it's been down. This morning I got a message online about some sort of successful upgrade to an Apache Web Server, but still no 'Fish.
Just to make sure it wasn't an AOL problem I also attempted to load it with the latest versions of Firefox and Netscape but to no avail (AOL as a web browser is really sucking out loud. I need to start looking at ISP options that don't include Vienna, Virginia.)
I hope EBasil comes along and lets me know it's all his fault and nothing I'm doing wrong!
