History of slalom

Hi Im doing a school project and I was wondering if you guys could tell me about the history of slalom racing.

Wes, great collection of articles. Did you actually transcribe all that to the post!?

Yep. That's how they got translated to ASCII text.

Of course, the scanner using OCR did a lot of the work. I still though, had to scan it, import it and then read it for errors (OCR is only about 80% efficient.)

I had the SKATEBOARDERS piled up on my desk for several months. Every once in a while I'd turn on the scanner, get a story and do the deed. It took a while but like I said in the intro post, I wasn't in a hurry and there was no deadline.
