Adrenalina Marathon Comes to San Diego

$10,000.00 First Prize and you don't even have to Ollie... but you do need a solid pump. The first event, in Florida, was won by Jeff Vyain on a top-mount dialed in for pumping like a slalom deck. So, not slalom, but could you use a ten grand reason to cross-train?

Prize Money for Open/Pro: 1st Place: $10,000.00; 2nd Place: $5,000.00; 3rd Place: $2,500.00

Additional Information: 6 hour time limit to complete the 26.2 mile race. Race starts and ends at Qualcomm Stadium on March 12th, 2011. 13 and Under and Beginners, race the mini Marathon, only 2.6 miles. Age Groups are divided by genders except for Open/Pro: 14-18 19-24 25-29 30-39 40-49 50-59 60+

Add a giant skateboarding trade show, open to the public, along with food, live music and more... you've got a skateboarding festival..

Whoever's organizing these things is doing a great job. Whatever it is they're doing, I hope we can learn from it.
