Haha, Michael Stride did that unintentionally when he was forced to switch over to Paul Prices course in Grüningen on Sunday. He touched Pauls board with the nose of his own board and came down hard on his hip. Pretty scary fall.

Course #2

Cool concept but what use is it other than for practice courses?

Here’s another course format. After about 25 easy hybridish cones, the courses divide. The red course is GeeAssier and easier, while the white course is getting tighter and harder. Right after the last orange cone you have a choice of courses. Take the red straight cone and keep some speed for the GS section on the left. Or go around the white cone and do a speed check before hitting 6 ft stingers at the bottom.

Shared gates are marked with both red and white cones.

If you're doing what I think you're doing, that's slalomcross!

On Saturday, June 21, East Coast Slalomcross® was invented by Plankk-R® Inc.

East Coast Slalomcross® is parallel slalom with crossing lanes.

East Coast Slalomcross® is fun to watch and fun to participate in, especially with an equally matched competitor.

East Coast Slalomcross® is a registered trademark of Plankk-R®- the most successful slalomboard company in the world today (based on the performance of Plankk-R® boards and its predecessors in the last 2 world-level slalom competitions).

East Coast Slalomcross® format could be used anywhere with a permission from Plankk-R®. Price of permission is negotiable and season-dependant.

Pictures to come later tonight.
