i found out that my indys have an irregular hanger.
the outer part of the hanger that its right next to the axle where i put the inner washer its not straight, its kind of crooked.

have u experienced something like this?, how can i repair it?

It does seem that many of the newer Independent trucks are lacking in quality.

Here is what I have done to "fix" the problem you describe: Take the hanger off and the wheels off the hanger. Insert the hanger, Axle end into a drill or lathe and file the aluminum casting until it is straight. Be sure to "clena up" both sides so you don't end up with trucks that are wider on one side. Good Luck.

i took a closer look to my 101´s and i realize that the hanger is thiner in one side and thicker in the other!!!!!!!!

so my trucks broke the 3 errors barrier:
1.- a hole in the baseplate that i guess its that the aluminum didnt filled the mold completely
2.- the crooked hanger on the part where it meets the axle.
3.- the error i mention on top of this message.

so , thats it for them

when i get money, or a donation i would change to trackers.

there are some pis at the "Response" forum

Hey Leo-
It sounds to me like you got some bad trucks. I just want to say that for the record, I have never bought, aquired, or ridden any bad trucks for Independent. All of the trucks that I have ridden in the last 25 years are still going. I have new Indy's and old one's-and they all semm to be of the same good quality. I guess the trucks that you got are the exeception. Although I have heard of poorly manufactured Indy's out there, I have yet to have actually see any first hand. I just recently bought some 101's at Longskate.com and they were perfect. So, I'd give Independent another try before changing over. Take care and happy holidays.
