With all the advances going on in our equipment, I would think that someone would come up with a way to change the tyre durometer quickly. Maybe instead of removing the bearing and wheel would be to somehow make the bearing axle stay with the truck and make the change by removing actual urethane on a rim/hub. a sort of urethane on a plastic rim cassette (sp?) I think if anyone would be doing this sort of thing it would be Abec 11.

Chris, any words on this idea?

Didn't Magnum make a wheel like that back in 78 - 79? You used like a spanner wrench to remove the center hub.
