Would that be recommend to achieve the effect of a narrower hanger width ?

It works great in certain situations. I race reversed wheels quite a bit. I'm a little strange that way though! :)

Mark,

If you're looking for quicker transitions for tighter courses try a smaller wheel diameter on the front truck like a 66mm Zig Zag or a 62mm Seismic Cambria. you'll give up some roll speed but sometimes that's the trade off you'll have to make to stay in bounds on more technical courses... the affects of gyroscopic inertia have a large say on how "things" feel under foot on a skateboard...
