If Joe sells a second hand system, you may get it at a better price, but check what version it is, if you want to be able to update it with new software. Only those around 6.3 could handle that. BTW before leaving for US, why you do not come to visit us in Turin? As son as the baby's room will be finish we should have space for our guests. It should be fine before the end of this fall.

It is single lane or dual timer. Works with a spool of wire and either tape strips or infared beams. It can start when you roll over a strip or with a 4 beep system. This is a race system, used at major races all over the world. For practice you might use something cheaper, like the mychron.
