Re: Speed Trap constructed
Been testing it with focusable lasers which help alignment. Now works over 40ft plus http://youtu.be/VraVscZk-sI

Speed Trap constructed
Just finalising a rather neat Speed Trap. http://www.youtube.com/embed/6liCioNM5Gs

Probably more suited to G.S. and downhill, its basically a circuit used for Scalectric slot cars with a tweak in the programming to show real size speed instead. The 'Gate' is 20 cm long, and as it uses lasers it can be set to width of a road.
This is a link to the circuit providers website: http://www.edutek.ltd.uk/
Putting it all in a neat box built by Pete from 'Dangerous Decks'.... the words 'Speed & mph' now light up. Testing in anger at an event this weekend.
