Geoskate Cone Prices

Post by Wesley Tucker » Sat Dec 31, 2005 5:12 pm

The Geoskate.com website (3dm, Seismic, you know, Dan Gesmer's company) is now listing cones at $2.00 (TWO DOLLARS) a piece, but on sale for $1.25 at $62.50 for 50.

That's still a hefty increase over $1.00 a cone.

The increase was long overdue, but for a while Dan was having such a large stock he didn't dare increase the price.

Now that his stock is almost empty, new cones will have to be produced and shipped across the oceans the price needed to go up to provide a minimum of margin for distributors and shops.

The price in Europe will be around 2 euros a piece.

Cones is a long term investment. I don't think it'll be so much of a problem.

I ordered it for 1.25 $ 5 minutes before.

Here are the differences if you order today to switzerland:

US: (3dm/seismic)
200 Cones = 290 $ (incl. shipping to Switzerland) = 379.75 CHF

Europe: (Coneracing)
200 Cones = 400 EUR (not shure if incl. Shipping) = 621.86 CHF (63.76 %)

Europe: (Sk8shop.ch; Airflow Cones; not shure if incl. Shipping)
200 Cones = 1000 CHF = 1000 CHF (163.33%)

Europe: (Airflow-Skateboards; Airflow Cones; not shure if incl. Shipping)
200 Cones = 800 CHF = 800 CHF (110.66%)
