i wear about a size larger in vans than i do in a running shoe (reebok/nike)..

best bet, find a local shoe store with some and try any pair of vans, i've found that most of the sizes of the different models are spot on to each other..

I can back up Will's statement.

(all expressed in US sizes)

I was in a Vans store yesterday. I took off my shoe (size 11 WEARAER), yet even the Vans 12 was a little snug.

I wear 11.5 Nikes.

Depends on the model. Anthony and I buy Vans at Ross at $14.99 a pair usually. Some of them are just right, yet others seem to be 1/2 size smaller. Since these are strickly slalom shoes, smaller doesn't hurt much. Smaller Vans feel better on the board.
I have 5 brand new pairs. 2 of them are smaller then my regular shoes. All size 9 US.
Vans makes women's skate shoes as well, and some of them look like guy's shoes. Women sizes are even smaller.

its not only the thign with women and men models - i made the experience, that it also depends on where they have been produced - us made are definetly larger in the same size, than vans produced for example in the phillipines !!!!!
