Meze slalom will also be a stage of the French championship Slalom 2010.
The event will be co-organized by Cyclameze (a local shop of urban glides and of sale / rent / repair of cycles), the Bordeaux Longskate Club, and the city of Meze .
Race direction will be ensured by the team ConeRacing.com!
The first day will begin in the morning with a giant slalom on a 400 meters spot, on a moderate slope with good quality asphalt.

Once the giant slalom over, we’ll move downtown to the central square (market place). After the lunch and the prize-giving, the afternoon will be dedicated to initiations and demonstrations ensured by our partners, as well as two contests: high jump and “limbo slide”.
The second and third days will be respectively dedicated to the tight slalom and the special slalom: the qualifications will begin in the morning, followed by the finals after a lunch break.
Both races should end near 3:30 pm and followed by the prize-giving: the participants will then get free-time (there s a lot of concrete skateparks in the area).
All the racers will be expected at 7 pm on Sundays (day 2) for dinner.
Tight and special slalom will take place on a flat spot, an asphalt of very good quality, just at the edge of the “Bassin de Thau” and near the Meze harbour.

The event will be OPEN (ISSA pros and amateurs merged): the categories MEN, WOMEN and JUNIOR will be rewarded.
For the categories WOMAN and JUNIOR, independent events will be organized if there are more than 6 racers in each category.
Each participant will be authorized to compete in only one category.
For each discipline, each racer will have 2 runs of training (minimum) then two timed runs.
For the giant, the final classification will be made at the best of both runs.
For the tight and special slaloms, will be qualified for the final phases and fight in dual mode:
- the 8 (or 16) best timing for the MAN category
- the 4 (or 8) best timing for the WOMAN category (if independent event)
- the 4 (or 8) best timing for the JUNIOR category (if independent event)
A ISSA « prime » status will be asked.
