It´s a one day deal, party at night and sleep on sunday.

Ok, no other candidate than Stockholm for the two Prime statuses that Europe has left. So then it's settled. Stockholm get Prime status. It looks like Stockholm will be the last race of the year with a respectable status. A last chance for you who have not competed enough this year.

To get to Stockholm Skavsta airport you need to take the bus 3 hours before your departure. You mustn't miss the bus or you'll miss your flight. Add 30-45 minutes to get to the city center (and bus stop) from whereever that contest parking lot is. Add 15 minutes or margin, so that you can locate the bus and get on. If someone drives you it's probably less than 20 minutes from the contest location to the bus, but just in case.
To me it seems too short to able to attend the race.

The bus ride itself is about 1h20 - 1h30 minutes, so with your late arrival you will arrive pretty late in Stockholm. Ryan air prides itself by often arriving 20 minutes early and the airport is small and efficient, so you get out of there normally within 30 minutes. I think you will be at the Stockholm city center at 01.00.

Well you have to be at Skavsta at 16.00 leave race site 14.00 in order to make it...
looks tight... Is there a later flight? I´ll drive you down to Skavsta, but not during the race.

Thanks for your prompt reply. It seems really "tooooo" short.
I will look for a day off on monday but I'm pretty sure that I won't be able to get it.
Unfortunately there are no later flights and even on sunday there is no flight (or at least not place on it, from the Rayanair webpage).
So I will let you know but at the moment it's more a no than a yes, for attending the race.

I have only been in the garage once and I'm not updated on the latest, but my guess is that the race will be run in pro/am/jr all running the same course and only being divided in the resultlist. I also expect the race to be single lane, best time wins. Format I guess will be either 2-3 hour jam or a set number of runs. Since this is a garage there is a limited space, and my guess would be that there will be 30 something cones or you can have a 180 degree turn and another 30, the later not being realistic. So with only 30 cones you can probably have quite a few runs in 2-3 hours, unless there is a rain delay of course

You are so right my brother, we will start at 10 am running a straight course 1,80 cc, jam formate, then we will run two special courses, I ran some cones there for the first time last saturday and I was positively supprised. It is warm it has a slope and the surface was far bether then I expected. We ran 40 cone courses.

I predict 30 some racers from Sweden, Latvia, England and Italy.

Paul, I can speak with the hotel, but I was kind of hoping for other arrangements.

I thought Luca won't come and me, unfortunately, neither.
The only way I would be able to attend the race would be to get a cheap airticket. I think that I would be able to have oneday off on monday (12th) but now as far as I know there are not cheap fairs anymore.
Anyone can help me concerning the flights info???

We're few french guys thinking about comming.... Is it the parking where we raced this summer? Is there any lowcost accomodation next to the spot? Is the stockholm bowl ridable? Is there any indoor bowl? Is there any girl in mini skirt?

It's not the same garage where the cyber was held this summer, it's the other side of stockholm and I'm not sure if there are any cheap hotels around that area. Probably not, since hotels always seem to be expensive where ever you go.

The garage is not totally flat, but not very steep either. Probably 35 cones.

Unfortunately the mini-skirt and outdoor bowl riding season is over. We had a little bit of snow this weekend, and the temperature have been below zero the last week.

They are building a new wood pool, vert ramp and miniramp, but I'm not sure what the status is since the guy who are supposed to build the ramp started out by testing the vert when it was almost done and broke his arm. It should have all been ready by last june, so my guess is it won't be done until february. The vert and indoor street area are still ok though.

Three Brits and Two Americans will be at the contest.

Thanks for a great event. The single lane 6 timed runs each meant fitness and board tuning were key.

Lets do some head-to-head racing next time

Ella, Mick and I got th the airport at 8pm but the flight was delayed until after 1 am.

At 3am we were driving past the big fire in London. What a memoriable weekend.

I went through the logfiles from the race and noticed that we did seven instead of six runs in the pro straight. Funny that no one seemed to notice at the race. And no, it didn't change any results.
